Awny Al-Omari

Awny Al-Omari has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 1992 as a Researcher at the Synchrotron Radiation Center. Awny then moved on to become a Software Designer at Tandem Computers in 1997, followed by a Software Engineer at living.com in 1999. In 2000, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Unikala, and a Software Designer at Compaq Computers in 2001. From 2002 to 2011, they held various roles at Hewlett-Packard, including Distinguished Technologist and Software Designer. In 2011, they joined Teradata, where they held roles such as Technology & Innovation Office, Advanced Analytics, Chief Architect - Teradata Aster, and Engineering Fellow. Most recently, they have been Chief Architect / Technical Fellow at Incorta since 2021.

Awny Al-Omari obtained a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1990 and 1996.
