Islam El-Muezzin

Islam El-Muezzin has a wealth of experience in the engineering field. Islam began their career in 2007 as an Assistant Lecturer and Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University, Egypt. In 2008, they co-founded vimov, a startup in the Middle East, and served as Technical Lead and grew the revenue to $1M in three years. In 2017, they became a Lead Software Engineer at fetchr. In 2018, they were appointed Chief Technology Officer at BADR, where they were part of the leading team during the acquisition of Incorta to BADR. In 2019, they took on three roles at Incorta, including Sr. Director of Engineering, Director Of Engineering, and Software Engineering Manager.

Islam El-Muezzin completed a BSc in Computer Science and Automatic Control from Alexandria University in 2006, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Engineering Mathematics from Alexandria University in 2015.
