Colin Heinrich

Director, Global Impact at Indagare

Colin Heinrich has a diverse work experience, starting in 2010 as a Coverage Writer for Abbot Management. In 2011, they worked as a Narrative Development Intern at Participant Media, where they also assisted in office management duties. Colin then interned at Lionsgate in 2012 as a Production and Development Intern, where they gained experience in script reading and developing relationships with agencies.

In 2012, Heinrich founded their own successful travel blog, Elsewhere Man, where they provided written, photographic, and video content while managing the social media and marketing aspects of the business. Colin also worked as a Freelance Writer, contributing to Matador Network, Business Insider, and News, among others.

From 2013 to 2015, Heinrich worked as a Senior Contributing Editor at Go Overseas, where they contributed articles, reviews, and digital content for partnered brands. Colin then joined Disney ABC Television Group as a Creative Consultant in 2013, helping develop concepts for short webisodes.

In 2015, Heinrich became an Editorial Producer at Matador Network, where they produced and published content, including their own work and that of others. Colin also organized media trips to international locations and established relationships with publicity firms and tourism boards.

In 2016, Heinrich joined Indagare as a Travel Specialist, planning high-end, bespoke trips and providing content for the company's website. Colin later became Global Impact Manager, developing sustainability strategies and policies for the company. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Global Impact at Indagare, where they focus on incorporating sustainability goals into the company's culture and mission, including achieving carbon neutrality by 2024.

Colin Heinrich attended the University of Southern California from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing and Screenwriting. In February 2020, they also obtained a Certificate in Sustainable Tourism from the GSTC (Global Sustainable Tourism Council).
