Panagiotis Georgiou

Panagiotis Georgiou has worked in the software engineering field since 2018. From 2018-2022, they worked as a Software Engineer at SYNTAX IT Inc., where they provided on-site services to INTERAMERICAN Insurance Company, served as Scrum Master since 2020, and used technologies such as Java, Hibernate, SQL, jax-ws, jax-rpc, Eclipse, SVN, Websphere, IBM DB2, JUnit, Ant, Maven, and JIRA. From 2017-2018, they were a Visitor PhD Candidate at Politecnico di Torino, where they were a member of the Electronic CAD & Reliability Group and collaborated with other PhD candidates to develop a new Software-Based Self-Testing (SBST) technique for microprocessors. From 2012-2017, they worked as a Junior Digital IC Design Engineer at Analogies S.A., where they were responsible for the design and verification of various blocks for a MIMO-OFDM telecommunication system of high complexity, as well as the design of a Memory Controller for a specific memory set-up with complicated and dynamic data structure.

Panagiotis Georgiou obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Ioannina between 2014 and 2019. Panagiotis then obtained an MSc in Hardware & Software Integrated Systems from the University of Patras between 2012 and 2014. Panagiotis'seducational history was further supplemented with a Diploma in Computer Engineering & Informatics from the University of Patras between 2005 and 2012.
