Vivek Venugopalan

Vivek Venugopalan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Vivek is currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Indee, where they are responsible for building video platforms that enable OTT companies and streaming media companies to securely share content. Prior to their current role, Vivek worked as a Virtual CTO and Technology advisor from 2020 to 2022.

From 2013 to 2020, Vivek held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Fantain Sports, where they played a crucial role in defining the next generation of fan engagement digital platforms. As a co-founder, they helped shape the technology platform and roadmap for the product.

Prior to that, Vivek worked at Wipro Technologies from 2007 to 2013, holding various roles such as Chief Technologist, RCTG, Lead Architect, and Practice leader. In these roles, they were responsible for providing e-Commerce and channel integration solutions to top retailers in the US. Vivek also gained a good understanding of offshore development through their involvement in both onsite and offshore leadership roles.

Vivek's career started at Wipro Technologies in 1999 as a Program Manager, where they managed a customer account and generated new business deals. Vivek successfully managed daily operations and ensured financial targets were met until 2005.

Before joining Wipro Technologies, Vivek worked as a consultant at Sears, Interim technology, and Rockwell International. Vivek also served as a Senior Systems Executive at S.R Associates Limited in 1993.
