Morgan Halaska has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. They started their career as a Public Relations Intern at The Milwaukee Repertory Theater in 2007 and later worked as a Web Merchandise Writer/Editor at Kohl's Corporate. In 2009, they worked as a Marketing Intern at Milkweed Editions before joining Target Corporate as a Contractor in 2010.

In 2011, Morgan took on multiple roles at different companies, including being an Arts Editorial Assistant at Twin Cities Daily Planet and a Writing Intern at METRO Magazine. They also worked as a Managing Editor at Paper Darts Literary Magazine and held various positions at Tiger Oak Media, starting as a Customer Service/Circulation employee and progressing to Assistant Editor and eventually becoming the Managing Editor for the Meetings + Events Media Group. At Tiger Oak Media, they were responsible for producing trade magazines, managing editorial calendars, handling relationships with press contacts and freelance writers, and collaborating with art directors on editorial and design stages.

In 2016, Morgan joined Unity Minneapolis as a Digital Communications Coordinator before transitioning to their most recent role as the Marketing & Communications Manager and later Marketing & Communications Director at Indeed Brewing Company in 2020.

From 2003 to 2007, Morgan Halaska attended Marquette University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Writing Intensive English.
