Erwin Lawardy Lau

Erwin Lawardy Lau is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as Director of Engineering for Communication and Notification at Indeed.com since 2016, Erwin oversees a diverse team of approximately 50 engineers and multiple product managers, successfully modernizing messaging systems to enhance user safety and combat fraud. Previously, as Director of Engineering for the Applicant Tracking System, Erwin expanded an engineering team from 7 to around 45 members and led initiatives to rebuild data pipelines. At Amazon, Erwin developed platforms that supported 3rd party sellers and improved operational efficiencies. Earlier experience includes roles at BT Financial Group, Cape York Partnership, Monash University, and Westpac Bank. Erwin holds dual degrees in Business and Computing with Honours from Monash University.
