Kias Hafiz

Kias Hafiz is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Indeed.com since January 2019, Kias previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer. Kias’ career includes significant contributions at Amazon from September 2012 to January 2019 as a Software Engineer III, working on high-profile projects such as Amazon Go and Alexa. Earlier roles include Sr. Software Engineer at Ansarada, Software Engineer at Veda Advantage, and Software Engineer at Picnet, alongside a managerial role at Agoge as IT & Engineering Manager. Kias holds a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Software Engineering from The University of Waikato, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
