Sharon Beirne

Sharon Beirne is the Director of Global Finance Operations at Indeed. Sharon has over 10 years of experience in finance and accounting.

Sharon started their career at Google Ireland Ltd in 2008 as a Finance Manager. Sharon was responsible for managing the EMEA corporate tax function, preparing group statutory accounts, and managing statutory audits for multiple entities across multiple regions. In 2010, they played a pivotal role in Google's largest acquisition & merger - DoubleClick.

After leaving Google in 2011, Sharon took some time off to travel. In 2016, they joined Indeed as the Director of Global Finance Operations. In this role, Sharon is responsible for leading a team of finance professionals and overseeing all aspects of Indeed's financial operations worldwide.

Sharon Beirne has a professional ACCA certification in accountancy from Griffith College Dublin, as well as a BA in economics and history from University College Dublin.
