Sumanth Gururaj has a range of work experience in data analysis and strategy. Sumanth Gururaj is currently working as an Associate Manager - Data Strategy at Indegene since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at HCL Technologies as a Senior Technical Lead from December 2020 to August 2022.

Before that, Sumanth worked at EF Education First as a Senior Digital Analyst, where they handled tasks such as delivering Google Analytics 360 and Google Data Studio dashboards to stakeholders, conducting UX-related analysis using Google Optimize, and optimizing web pages and campaign pages using Adobe Omniture and Adhoc Analysis. Sumanth Gururaj held this role from April 2019 to December 2020.

Prior to EF Education First, Sumanth worked at Thinkster Math as a Data Analyst - Tabtor from November 2014 to October 2016. Here, they automated data visualization using Looker BI tool and integrated it with the MySQL database. Sumanth Gururaj also analyzed web traffic data using Google Analytics and provided dashboards and insights to the leadership team.

Before Thinkster Math, Sumanth worked at Nabler Digital Analytics as an Analyst from December 2013 to November 2014. In this role, they worked with tools like Omniture and Google Analytics for analyzing retail data, creating reporting templates in Excel, and providing insights to clients.

Sumanth's earliest work experience was at Valgen, where they worked as a Data Mining Engineer from January 2012 to November 2013.

Sumanth Gururaj completed their Bachelor's of Engineering in Information Science from VTU, Karnataka, from 2006 to 2010. During the same time period, they also pursued a degree in Information Science & Engineering, specializing in Data Science and Predictive Analytics, from AIT, Chikmagalore.

In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. In August 2020, they received certification in Google Optimize & Optimize 360 from Jellyfish. In July 2020, they obtained Agile with Atlassian Jira certification from Atlassian. Prior to that, in June 2020, they completed the Agile Meets Design Thinking certification from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
