Simon McDowell

Simon McDowell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Simon began their career as a Senior Employment Consultant at Western Vocational Association in 1998. Simon then worked at BROADMEADOWS DISABILITY SERVICES, where they held various positions, including Manager Day Services, Program Development Manager, and General Manager, from 2004 to 2021. In 2021, they joined genU as a Manager of Quality and Safeguarding and held the position until 2024. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Quality and Safeguarding at Independence Australia.

Simon McDowell holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in Workforce Development and Training from The Gordon, which they completed in 2007. Before that, they obtained an Advanced Diploma of Business Management in Management from The Gordon in 2006. Prior to that, they completed a Diploma in Frontline Management in Management from Chisholm Institute in 2001.
