Alison Lin

Alison Lin, CPA, has over a decade of work experience in various roles in the accounting and finance industry. Alison currently serves as the Lead Accountant at Independence Blue Cross since October 2021. Previously, they worked as a Senior Investment Accountant at the same company from July 2017 to October 2021.

Prior to their role at Independence Blue Cross, Alison worked as a Tax Consultant at Genius Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd. from June 2009 to June 2010. Alison also gained valuable experience as a Senior Associate at PwC from September 2010 to July 2014, where they performed projects planning and management, supervised teams, and developed strong client relationships.

Alison's early career included an internship as an Assurance Associate at PwC in 2008 and participation in the Leadership Program at Ernst & Young in the same year. Additionally, they served as an Intercultural Student Ambassador of Leeds University Business School from September 2014 to December 2015, where they assisted prospective students and shared their experiences.

Alison Lin, CPA, holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Leeds, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting at Soochow University from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their educational background, Alison has obtained several certifications including CPA from the New York State Education Department in October 2018, as well as a Trading & Financial Market Analysis Certificate from Amplify Trading in July 2015.
