Michael Renfer

Michael Renfer is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in system administration and infrastructure management. Currently serving as Lead Server Administrator at Independence Blue Cross since May 2017, Michael oversees the design, implementation, and support of core infrastructure components, along with web-based application support. Prior to this role, Michael worked at Contour Data Solutions as a T2 Systems Engineer, managing SAN environments and maintaining availability across Windows and Linux platforms. At StoneMor Partners, L.P., Michael held various roles, including Windows System Administrator, where responsibilities included managing over 100 servers and leading significant improvements in backup strategies and system migrations. Michael also has experience in technical support, having worked at Futura Mobility, LLC, and MICROS Systems Inc., providing help desk and field service support. Michael holds an Associate degree in Network Engineering Technology from CHI Institute, earned in 2003.
