Jennifer Kraus Lmsw

Jennifer Kraus, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work and care management, currently serving as a Social Worker/Care Manager at Independence Care System since June 2015, where responsibilities include managing a caseload of up to 80 members with physical disabilities or chronic illnesses and developing tailored Person Centered Care Plans. Additionally, Jennifer has worked as a Direct Support Professional at Person Centered Care Services since March 2014, providing support to adults with intellectual disabilities. Previous internships include social work positions at the Police Athletic League and the Council of Senior Centers and Services of NYC, where efforts focused on advocacy, outreach, and assisting older adults with applications. An early career includes supervising children in various capacities at JCC of Staten Island and working as a Respite Worker at Springbrook NY, Inc. Jennifer holds a Master of Social Work from Adelphi University and a Bachelor of Science in Child and Family Studies from SUNY Oneonta.
