Dustin Burke, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Dustin began their career as an Access Services professional at Central Michigan University from 2009 to 2011. Following this, they worked as a Fleet Manager at Universal Am-Can Ltd, where they were responsible for managing the company's fleet from 2011 to 2012.
In 2012, Dustin joined GreenStone Farm Credit Services, initially serving as a Crop Insurance Specialist & Credit expert until the end of the year. Dustin then transitioned to the position of Credit Analyst from 2013 to 2014 before being promoted to Assistant Vice President of Credit, a role they held until 2017.
From 2017 to 2018, Dustin worked as a Financial Analyst at the Lansing Board of Water & Light, where they gained valuable experience in financial analysis. Since 2018, they have been employed at Independent Bank as the VP of Business Banking Credit. In this position, they oversee a team of commercial credit analysts and specialists, managing various centralized bank processes, including commercial loan underwriting. Additionally, they are involved in value-add processes such as underwriting for indirect lending partners and treasury management customers/products.
Dustin Burke, MBA has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Corporate Finance from Central Michigan University. Dustin also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in Value-Driven Organization from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent from the Michigan Department of Insurance and Financial Services in January 2012.
