Shayne B. Flaherty

Shayne B. Flaherty is an experienced technology leader with a diverse background in infrastructure, security, and education. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Independent Connections since September 2018, Shayne leads a team focused on networking and secure infrastructure. In addition, Shayne co-founded Northern Tradition, a property holdings company aimed at supporting local businesses. Previous roles include Principal Consultant at TUV Rheinland Opensky, where expertise in information architecture and security management was developed, and Technical Consultant at Teem Scientific, fostering innovation in education through analytics. Shayne's teaching experience as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Central Connecticut State University enhances a strong academic foundation, which includes a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
