David Chong Tai has extensive experience in the technology and consulting sectors, currently serving as Senior Manager of Smart Metering at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) since 2001 after holding various managerial positions within the organization. Prior to IESO, David gained valuable consulting experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, and held technical roles at Digital Equipment Corporation and RBTT Bank Limited. David holds a Bachelor of Mathematics degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, earned between 1981 and 1985.
