Kevin Abraham

Kevin Abraham, MASc, currently serves as a Specialist in Operational Assessments at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) since September 2024. Previously, Kevin held the position of Senior Manager, Pre-Construction at TruGrid, an innovative EPC and integration company focusing on utility-scale battery storage and solar projects, and at SunGrid, where roles included Senior Manager and Manager of Solutions for Major Accounts. Experience also encompasses advisory and analytical roles in market operations at Peak Power Inc, as well as research and internship positions at Natural Resources Canada, Ontario Power Generation, and Kitchener-Wilmot Hydro Inc. Kevin holds a Master’s degree in AI Applications in Smart Grid Technology and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the University of Waterloo.
