Megan Lund

Megan Lund has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Senior Manager of Transmission Planning at the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) since June 2015, with prior roles including Manager and Senior Planner. At IESO, responsibilities encompass plan development for the Southwest and Greater Toronto Area, along with management of transmission planning. Previously, Megan worked at Toronto Hydro from May 2010 to May 2015, progressing from a Senior Technical Student to EIT in Capital Investment Planning, focusing on capital distribution project planning, customer connection requests, and regulatory interactions with the Ontario Energy Board. Early professional experience includes a Summer Student Engineer position at DPH Focus, contributing to electrical designs and project documentation. Educationally, Megan holds a BASc in Engineering Science with a specialization in Energy Systems from the University of Toronto.
