Dave Mika has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, starting in 1995 with Independent Health as Senior Vice President of Business Operations. Dave then transitioned to Director of Claims Operations from 1998 to 2010. In 2011, they joined Fidelis Care NY as Asst. Vice President of Claims for a brief period. Additionally, Dave served in the United States Army Reserve as a Combat Medic/Specialist from 1983 to 1989.
Dave Mika attended the Edna G Dyett School of Practical Nursing and later pursued a degree in Physical Geography with Environmental Analysis at the University of Buffalo. Dave also obtained a certification as a Certified Health Consultant (CHC) from the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.
