Peter Ghil, ASA, MAAA has over a decade of experience in the actuarial field, with a focus on healthcare. Peter started their career at Independent Health as a Senior Actuarial Analyst, eventually working their way up to Actuarial Manager. Peter then moved to Highmark Health as an Actuary before transitioning back to Independent Health as Vice President of Corporate Actuarial and currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Actuarial Officer.
Peter Ghil, ASA, MAAA obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Finance and Accounting from Yonsei University. Peter then pursued Master of Arts (M.A.) degrees in Mathematics and Economics from the University at Buffalo. In 2011, they obtained the A.S.A. credential from the Society of Actuaries and the MAAA credential from the American Academy of Actuaries.
