Amy Taylor possesses extensive experience in the fields of criminology, social policy, and justice reform. Serving as a Board Member for Independent Monitoring Boards since September 2022, Amy also holds the position of Founder and Strategy & Finance Director at Tap Social Movement since 2016, driving initiatives aimed at reducing reoffending through employment opportunities for current and former prisoners. Previous roles include Board Member on the Employment Advisory Board at HMP Spring Hill, Trustee at Lake Street Nursery, and various policy advisory positions at the Ministry of Justice UK, where Amy contributed significantly to youth justice reforms and gangs policy. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of Oxford and a Master's in Criminal Justice Policy from the London School of Economics.
