Louise Finer

Louise Finer is an experienced consultant and trainer specializing in human rights, autism, and detention monitoring. Currently serving as a trainer for the #NATPmentalhealth National Autism Trainer Programme at AT-Autism, Louise also provides consultancy services to several organizations, including Maslaha, the National Preventive Mechanism Tasmania, and Penal Reform International, focusing on organizational development and policy reform. Louise has held visiting fellow positions at the University of Bristol Law School and the University of Essex since 2021. In addition to academic roles, Louise contributes to cultural initiatives as a musician with the Great Yiddish Parade. With an LLM in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, Louise brings a strong academic background to extensive consulting work in human rights advocacy.
