John Arthur

John Arthur has accumulated extensive experience in finance and accounting roles throughout their career. John started as a Financial Accountant at Projector SA in 2004, where they focused on trading system reconciliation and commodities trading. John then moved to Sibir Energy plc in 2007 as a Financial Reporting Accountant, handling annual and interim reports according to IFRS and UK GAAP standards. At Seven Energy International, they held various roles from 2010 to 2018, including Nigerian Financial Controller and Investor Relations Officer. In 2018, they joined Aminex PLC as Group Financial Controller before becoming the Chief Financial Officer. Most recently, in 2022, they took on the role of Head of Finance at IOG plc before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer later that year.

John Arthur completed their BSc (Hons) in Applied Economics and Accounting from the University of Plymouth in 2004. John obtained additional certifications including ACCA in 2007 and FCCA in 2012.
