Nikos Raftopoulos

Nikos Raftopoulos serves as the IT & Telecommunications Director at the Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO or ADMIE) since September 2018, overseeing key areas including Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, ICT Data Centers, IT Systems & Applications, and IT Help Desk, while also acting as CISO and leading Enterprise Risk Management initiatives. In addition, Nikos serves as IT & Telecommunications Advisor to the CEO at ENTSO-E and holds the position of Vice Chairman of the ICT Committee at COSMOTE Mobile Telecommunications S.A. with a prior history as Business Development Manager and Senior Project Manager, focusing on digital market opportunities, customer segmentation strategies, and Revenue Assurance systems. Nikos began a career in consultancy at Accenture as an AR analyst and has a foundation in IT analysis from Intracom Telecom. Academically, Nikos holds an MSc in Mobile and Satellite Communications from the University of Surrey, a BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Newcastle University, and an MBA from Hellenic Open University.
