Gwen Sherrod

Gwen Sherrod has over 20 years of work experience. Gwen started their career in 1999 as an Independent Sales Account Representative at Yancey's, where they worked until 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they were promoted to the position of National Account Sales Manager at the same company. In 2006, they joined Independent Purchasing Cooperative as a Regional Distribution Manager, and quickly advanced to the role of Director of Field Distribution. Gwen held this position until present time.

Gwen Sherrod has a diverse education history. In 1987, they enrolled at Colorado State University, where they pursued a degree in Applied Human Science. Gwen specialized in Restaurant Resort Management and Food Science and Human Nutrition and completed their studies in 1990.

After a significant gap in their education, Gwen returned to pursue further studies in 2006. Gwen joined Regis University and obtained a Masters of Science degree in Organizational Leadership. Gwen'sstudies in this field lasted from 2006 to 2009.

In more recent years, Gwen embarked on a MicroMasters program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Gwen studied Supply Chain Management as part of this program and completed it in 2020.
