John Ritter

For the past 30 years, John has been a Subway® Franchisee and currently owns 6 stores in Central Ohio. John has served on numerous boards, including the Dayton, Ohio, Franchisee Advertising Fund board since 2004 and as board chair in 2018. The board was recognized under his tenure as the best mid-sized market for two consecutive years.

As a former purchasing manager for 20 years with his family business, he knows the importance of managing costs while improving performance. As an IPC board member, John will continue prioritizing solutions to lower costs and enhance the system’s performance. He looks forward to applying his experience in purchasing to help evaluate and improve strategies and provide better costs, benefits, and quality of the equipment, product, and services franchise owners use.

IPC was incorporated in September 1996 to serve as the purchasing and services cooperative for Subway® Franchisees in the United States and Canada. Created through the cooperative efforts of the Subway® Franchisees, it is a model of what can be achieved through a strategic approach to services, supplies, equipment, logistics, information and supplier relations in a multi-billion dollar food service business.
