Alicia Clingan, CEBS, CPIA, CHVP, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Alicia began their career as a Travel Consultant at AAA Mid-Atlantic, where they provided travel consultation services to members, including airline quotes and reservations, auto rentals, and lodging accommodations. In 1996, they joined ACNB Bank as a Teller II, where they handled various banking transactions for customers.

In 1999, Alicia joined Pennsylvania School Boards Association as a Customer Service Representative/Marketing, where they excelled in providing exceptional service to clients. In 2005, they progressed to AIA Broker Benefit Solutions, where they took on the role of Operations Manager. In this position, Alicia oversaw the account management team and customer service operations, implementing processes to improve efficiencies and providing training and mentoring to broker partners and staff.

Most recently, Alicia has been working at Independent School Management since 2014. Alicia started as the Health Consortium Senior Administrative Advisor, where they advised on health consortium matters and provided administrative support. Alicia then advanced to the role of Senior Benefits & Health Consortium Account Manager, responsible for managing client accounts and ensuring their satisfaction. Currently, Alicia serves as the Director of Insurance Account Management, overseeing all ISM insurance products sold to K-12 and charter schools, as well as small businesses.

In 1994 to 1996, Alicia attended Central Penn College and obtained an Associate degree in Business. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Littlestown Senior High School from 1990 to 1994, focusing on academics.

In 2004, Alicia received certification as a Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) from the American Insurance Marketing and Sales Society (AIMS). This certification demonstrates their knowledge and expertise in the insurance industry.

From 2015 to 2018, Alicia pursued further education at the International Foundation of Employee Benefits (IFEBP) and earned the designation of Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS). This program from the IFEBP enhances their understanding of employee benefits and their management.

In 2016, Alicia obtained the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) certification from the IFEBP, showcasing their specialization in group insurance benefits. Additionally, they became a Certified Voluntary Worksite Professional through the National Association of Health Underwriters in 2015, demonstrating their expertise in voluntary worksite benefits.

Alicia expanded their knowledge in the field of retirement plans by completing the Retirement Plans Associate (RPA) certification program offered by the IFEBP in 2017.

In 2019, Alicia achieved the Certified Outcomes Report Analysis (CORA) certification and became a Certified Health Value Professional (CHVP) from the Validation Institute. These certifications highlight their proficiency in analyzing outcomes reports and understanding the value of health programs.

Most recently, in 2020, Alicia acquired the Advisor Ambassador certification from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), demonstrating their expertise and role as an advisor in the industry.
