Javarus McConner has a diverse background in sports management and player relations. Javarus began their career in 2014 as a Camp Coordinator for the National Football League Players Association. In 2017, they interned as an Operations Intern at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). McConner then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Winston-Salem State University from 2016 to 2017. In 2019, they joined Independent Sports & Entertainment (ISE) as a Player Relations/Sports Marketing Manager. Later that year, they transitioned to First Pick Sports, where they currently hold the role of Player Relations. In this position, they are responsible for leading recruiting efforts, managing and consulting services for professional athletes, and developing partnership and event proposals.
Javarus McConner completed their Associate's degree at Los Angeles Pierce College from 2013 to 2015. Javarus then pursued further education at Winston-Salem State University where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from 2015 to 2017.
