Garret Nowell

Garret Nowell has extensive experience in forestry and timber procurement, currently serving as the Log Procurement Manager at Independent Stave Company since July 2016, overseeing the procurement of oak logs for domestic stave mills. Previously, Garret worked as a Log Buyer at American Stave Company from May 2014 to July 2016, focusing on white oak log procurement in Western Tennessee and North Mississippi. Garret also served as a Forestry & Wildlife Consultant for Mitchell Forestry & Wildlife Services, Inc., where responsibilities included designing timber inventories as a staff forester and GIS specialist. Garret's academic background includes a Master of Science in Forestry Biometrics and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry Management, both from Mississippi State University.
