Michael Hollenbeck

Michael Hollenbeck, CFE, is an experienced fraud risk management professional with a robust background in developing and implementing fraud detection and prevention programs based on COSO’s Risk Management Principles. Currently serving as the Enterprise Fraud Manager at Independent Financial since May 2022, Michael has previously held prominent positions including Fraud Investigations Manager at Wescom Credit Union and FVP, Fraud Risk Manager at Bank of Hope. With extensive experience across various organizations, including UNIFY Financial Credit Union and Bank of America, Michael has consistently focused on enhancing policies and procedures, improving internal controls, and leading fraud investigation teams. Michael holds a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership from Brandman University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of La Verne.
