Lead Application Engineer at Index Corporation

Daniel Kesting has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Daniel started their career as an Infantry Staff Sergeant in the Bundeswehr, where they were responsible for tactical training and combat operations. Daniel then moved on to work as a Programming and Setup Engineer at Armaturenfabrik Franz Schneider GmbH + Co. KG, programming and operating CNC lathe machines for various industries. As a Supervisor at the same company, they supervised a staff of over 50 employees across multiple departments, managing operations and production processes. Following this, they joined INDEX-Werke GmbH & Co. KG as an Application Engineer, programming and setting up CNC machines. Daniel then worked at INDEX Corporation, first as an Application Engineer and later as a Lead Application Engineer where they conducted risk assessment and analysis, as well as job planning and layout. Throughout their career, Daniel has gained extensive experience in CNC programming, tooling, and machine setup.

Daniel Kesting completed their Realschulabschluss Degree* at Johann Wolf Realschule from 1982 to 1992. Following that, they pursued a German Apprenticeship in Cutting Machine Operation from 1992 to 1996. Later, Daniel attended IHK Heilbronn / Franken from 2006 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor Professional of Metal Production and Management degree.
