Jeff Iapicco

Jeff has extensive experience in the development of complex hardware and software systems. Prior to joining Index Engines he was the VP of Engineering for Sycamore Networks, which develops and markets intelligent optical switches, multi-service cross-connects, integrated access platforms, advanced software, and mobile broadband optimization solutions, designed to create more agile, efficient, scalable, and reliable communications networks.

Jeff also had a long career at Bell Labs, where he led the Lucent Technologies Voice over IP gateway and gatekeepers engineering organization. At Bell Labs he had extensive experience in developing software and hardware for complex voice and data communication systems.

Jeff has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
