André Schumacher

André Schumacher has a strong background in data science and machine learning. André is currently working at Index Exchange as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Simplaex and Rivr from 2019 to 2022. André also worked as a Data Scientist at GetYourGuide from 2018 to 2019. Before that, André served as a Senior Data Scientist at Reaktor Innovations Oy from 2016 to 2018. André gained earlier experience as a Data Scientist at Sanoma in 2014-2015 and as a Consultant at Databricks in 2014. Later on, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Doctor of Science (Technology) degree in Computer Science at Aalto University.
