Ka-Wai Chan

Ka-Wai Chan has extensive work experience in software engineering and consulting roles. Currently, they are employed at Index Exchange as a Staff Software Engineer / Technical Engineering Manager, where they lead a team of engineers and oversee the creation and maintenance of micro-services written in golang. Prior to this, Ka-Wai was the CTO of Riper.io and worked as a Lead Fullstack Software Engineer at Trðv. They also have experience as a Software Consultant at Codebasis Inc., MDEX Solutions Inc., Husky Energy, Walton International Group, Cortex Business Solutions, Neteller, and Thoughtworks. In these roles, they were responsible for various tasks such as developing web applications, implementing AI algorithms, integrating external APIs, and managing software projects. Ka-Wai's technical skills include programming languages like C#, golang, TypeScript, and SQL, as well as frameworks and technologies such as ASP.NET, AngularJS, Angular, React, Redux, and AWS.
