Sandip Bhattacharya

Sandip Bhattacharya is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in site reliability engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer in Observability at Index Exchange since August 2025, Bhattacharya has previously held significant roles at BenchSci as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on reliability engineering for Django/FastAPI stacks, and at Wayfair as a Senior Staff Engineer on the Kubernetes team. Prior experience includes a tenure at LinkedIn, where responsibilities included developing monitoring infrastructure and managing distributed database systems. Bhattacharya’s career also includes leadership positions at Yahoo! in various engineering and management roles, as well as founding Puroga Technologies Pvt.
