Alecia Cockrill

Alecia Cockrill currently serves as the Dean of Students and Intervention Specialist at Indian Creek Local School District since July 2021. Previously, Alecia worked as an Intervention Specialist at Perry Local School District from July 2015 to June 2021, and at Ontario Local School District from May 2013 to May 2015, specializing in K-4 and 3rd and 4th grade interventions. Additional experience includes coaching 7th grade girls' basketball and serving in various educational roles such as a long-term reading resource substitute and a paraprofessional/student teacher. Alecia's educational qualifications include a Principal Licensure with Teacher Leader Endorsement from Walsh University, a Master of Arts in Education focusing on Reading Literacy, and several licenses in intervention specializations. Alecia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Mount Union.
