Justin McHorse

Justin McHorse currently serves as the HQ Recruitment and Outreach Program Coordinator for the Indian Health Service, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this, Justin was the Assistant Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine from July 2015 to January 2022, where responsibilities included chairing the Diversity Council and the Scholarship Committee. Previous roles at Burrell College encompassed various leadership positions focused on multicultural inclusion and communications. Justin's earlier experience includes directing the American Indian Program at New Mexico State University, advocating for American Indian student support, and serving as Assistant Director of Diversity Programs in Engineering at Cornell University. Justin holds a Master of Science degree in Higher Education Administration from Purdue University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Native American Studies from Dartmouth College.
