Maggie Walker has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Maggie started their career as a Waitress/Cook/Cashier at Ahlbee's Food & Fuel in 2010 and worked there until 2012. In 2011, they also worked as an American Literature/ESL Tutor at Indian Hills Community College Student Services. From 2013 to 2014, they served as a Billing Manager and Data Entry Clerk at Gentry Insurance Agency, where they managed routine billing collection procedures and handled data entry for various insurance policies. From 2011 to 2016, they worked as an Office Assistant at M&M Enterprises; The Lumber Company, where they managed invoicing and mailing duties, and performed office maintenance tasks. Maggie then joined Jefferson County Health Center as a Financial Counselor in 2015 and worked there until 2018, where they conducted patient eligibility interviews and processed billing and claims. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Financial Aid at Indian Hills Community College since February 2022, after previously serving as a Financial Aid-Academic Advisor from 2018 to 2022.
