Shailza Shharma has over 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry, primarily in human resources roles. Shailza is currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Taj Hotels since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Human Resources Manager at Taj Hotels from September 2015 to August 2022. Before joining Taj Hotels, they held the position of Human Resources Manager at The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts for a brief period in 2015.

Shailza's previous experience includes working at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, where they served as the Assistant Director of HR from April 2010 to May 2015 and as the Human Resources Manager from April 2009 to March 2010. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Manager - HR at DLF Hotel Holdings Limited for two years, focusing on recruitment, HR policies, performance appraisal, employee engagement, and training and development.

In their early career, Shailza held the position of Human Resources Associate at Emaar MGF, where they played a key role in establishing HR policies and procedures and managing talent acquisition. Shailza also worked at Carlson Wagonlit Travel as a Senior Executive - Coordination and at Tivoli Hotels & Resorts as an Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Throughout their career, Shailza has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions, including manpower planning, performance appraisal, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, and CSR initiatives.

Shailza Shharma earned an MBA degree in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies from 2006 to 2008. Prior to that, they completed their graduation from Delhi University between 2000 and 2002. Shailza attended Daisy Dales School from 1993 to 1999.
