Abhijit Biswas

Abhijit Biswas serves as an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science since July 2020, following notable leadership roles in various technology and research positions. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Technology Officer at Dynocardia, Inc. and Merkel Haptic Systems Pvt Ltd, where Abhijit led research and development efforts. Abhijit also held impactful positions as a Senior Scientist at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, focusing on biomedical instrumentation. With a strong foundation in Applied Mechanics and Biomedical Engineering, Abhijit earned a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, as well as a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Biomedical and Electronics Engineering, respectively.
