Rajesh Sundaresan is a Professor at the Indian Institute of Science since June 2005, focusing on research in communication, computation, and control over networks, with applications in the Internet of Things and cyber-physical systems, as well as decentralized algorithms over graphs, network analytics, and information geometry. Prior to this role, Rajesh served as a Visiting Scientist at the Indian Statistical Institute - Bengaluru Centre from February 2021 to July 2021 and at Strand Life Sciences from August 2020 to February 2021. Rajesh has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, having worked as a Senior Staff Engineer and Manager at Qualcomm from October 1999 to May 2005, where responsibilities included designing and developing WCDMA and HSDPA modems. Academically, Rajesh holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University (1994-1999) and a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (1990-1994).
