Rupal Sarup is a Prime Minister's Research Fellow and Ph.D. Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, pursuing doctoral studies since August 2021. Prior to this, Rupal completed a dissertation internship at the National Institute of Cancer Prevention & Research, focusing on the effects of curcumin on tumor suppressor genes in breast cancer cell lines. Earlier research experience includes internships at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, where Rupal gained expertise in molecular biology techniques, and at the Inter-university Accelerator Centre, studying textile wastewater treatment using advanced characterization methods. Rupal also interned at the National Institute of Malaria Research and the Codon Institute of Biotechnology, acquiring foundational skills in molecular biology and DNA amplification techniques. Rupal holds a dual degree in Biotechnology (B.Tech + M.Tech) from Amity University and has an educational background at Apeejay Stya Education.
