Sunil Kumar Khare

Sunil Kumar Khare is the current Dean of Research & Development at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India. Sunil has held this position since January 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Associate Dean of Research and Development at the same institute from January 2017 to December 2017. Sunil has also served as the Chairman of GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) from January 2014 to December 2016, and as the Vice Chairman of GATE from January 2004 to December 2013. Their previous experience also includes working as a Student Affairs Hostel Warden at IIT-Delhi from January 1989 to December 2000.

Sunil Kumar Khare has a Diploma in Food science and Nutrition from the National Food Research Institute Japan, a Masters in Biochemistry and Microbiology from G B Pant University Pantnagar, and a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Biochemistry from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. Sunil also has a certification from BMC Biotechnology in Associate Editor, a certification from 3 Biotech ; Springer in Associate Editor, a certification from Frontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology”, Section: Bioprocess Engineering in Associate Editor, and a certification from The Open Biochemistry Journal in Associate Editor.
