Amar Nath Gupta

Amar Nath Gupta is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur since September 2013, having previously held the position of Assistant Professor. Prior to this role, Amar Nath Gupta was a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Alberta from December 2009 to September 2013, contributing to research on single molecule force spectroscopy of prion proteins and screening compounds to impede amyloid aggregation. Additionally, Amar Nath Gupta worked as a Research Fellow at the National University of Singapore from October 2007 to November 2009, focusing on the entropy-driven liquid crystalline compaction of supercoiled DNA. Amar Nath Gupta earned an MSc and PhD in Physics from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, from 2001 to 2008.
