Kalpita Nath

Kalpita Nath is currently a PMRF Research Fellow and PhD Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, since September 2020. Previous experience includes a role at the Central Institute Of Mining & Fuel Research focused on mine fire and ventilation and coal dust explosion management and an internship at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, concentrating on hydrogen generation by the Cu-Cl thermochemical cycle. Kalpita also interned at Sanfoundry and Jadavpur University, engaging in research on membrane separation of oil-water emulsions and wastewater treatment, while also participating in an international workshop on colloid chemistry. Additional training occurred at Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd, which involved exploration and extraction of oil fields, and at the Tripura State Pollution Control Board, which covered pollution sources and control measures. Kalpita's educational background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, a Master's from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, and a Bachelor's from the National Institute of Technology Agartala.
