Kalpita Nath is currently a PMRF Research Fellow and PhD Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, since September 2020. Previous experience includes a role at the Central Institute Of Mining & Fuel Research focused on mine fire and ventilation and coal dust explosion management and an internship at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, concentrating on hydrogen generation by the Cu-Cl thermochemical cycle. Kalpita also interned at Sanfoundry and Jadavpur University, engaging in research on membrane separation of oil-water emulsions and wastewater treatment, while also participating in an international workshop on colloid chemistry.
