Pratik Pranjal

Pratik Pranjal is currently a Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, focusing on the synthetic rock mass approach for jointed rock mass modeling under the guidance of Prof. Shantanu Kumar Patel. Previously, Pratik served as a Data Analyst at Terra, where data analysis tools such as SQL, advanced Excel, Mixpanel, and Python were utilized to assess user engagement and retention metrics. Earlier research experience includes a position at IIT Kharagpur under Dr. Sunita Mishra, studying the high strain rate response of rocks under dynamic loading. Additionally, Pratik gained software engineering experience at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where stock price data was interfaced with internal tools and frameworks. Pratik is pursuing a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, expected to graduate in May 2025.
