Rakesh Kumar Sahoo

Rakesh Kumar Sahoo is currently a PhD Research Scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, focusing on Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering. Prior to this role, Rakesh completed a Master's Project Internship at L&T Technology Services Limited, where the work involved intelligent controller design and co-simulation for damping force control of a magneto-rheological damper. Rakesh also served as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer with Team Roadrunner at NIT Rourkela, contributing to the design of two Formula Student Combustion Vehicles and engaging in suspension system analysis. Additional internships at National Aluminium Company Limited and Rourkela Steel Plant provided Rakesh with practical manufacturing and rolling process experience. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's and Master's Dual degree from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela and early education at DAV Public School and Rotary Public School.
