Jithin John Varghese

Jithin John Varghese is an accomplished academic and engineer with extensive experience in chemical engineering. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras since October 2018, Jithin John Varghese previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore from January 2017 to October 2018. A Postdoctoral Researcher at Nanyang Technological University from August 2012 to November 2016, Jithin John Varghese focused on first principles simulations of reactions involving methane. Earlier career experience includes working at Indian Oil Corporation Limited as a Senior Production Engineer and Production Engineer from July 2008 to July 2012, overseeing pre-commissioning activities and refinery operations. Jithin John Varghese holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat.
