Jack Schultz has extensive experience in the library profession. Jack started their career in 2004 as a Reference Librarian at Westmont Public Library. In this role, they were a member of the Maker Space committee, designed STEAM programming, and led various classes on computer education, sewing, and gaming for adults, teens, and kids. Jack also provided personal reference assistance to patrons in the adult services department. Jack worked at Westmont Public Library until 2017.
In 2005, Jack joined Thomas Ford Public Library as a Youth Services Librarian. Jack held this position until 2006.
Since 2017, Jack has been working at Indian Prairie Public Library. Jack initially served as the Assistant Head of Youth Services and then transitioned to the role of Senior Maker & Technology Librarian in October 2021.
Jack Schultz completed a Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from Wayne State University in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago. No specific start year is provided for either of the degrees.
